Welcome to the first posting on our new blog. We thought it would be fun to chronicle the daily events of our lives and to discuss the latest blooms be they from the garden or from the fertile soil of our imaginations. Life is interesting here in the country; we have a great variety of wildlife and plants. Many other birds come, go, and take up residence and each sighting is a big event for us. We have at least three pair of bluebirds that have made their homes here and one pair is nesting in an old nesting box that Jan nailed on a pole in the back garden. We will share our moments, musings and monologues as time goes by.

This is a great idea. But now I'm gonna have to do the family blog thing that I've been putting off! More pics please...I need garden inspiration!
